Topanga Beach Cleanup with Surfrider LA
In recognition of the 1 year anniversary of the Palisades Fire, we’re gathering alongside Surfrider LA to heal and clean Topanga Beach.
Surfrider beach cleanups serve to raise awareness about the trash & litter problem confronting our waterways. The data collected from the trash volunteers find at our cleanups helps shape Surfrider’s plastic reduction policy campaign initiatives.

Monarch Restoration Volunteer Opportunity
Help your RCD restore monarch overwintering habitat in lower Topanga State Park.
This unique volunteer event offers participants a chance to restore and ready fire impacted wild spaces for a newly established monarch butterfly population in the Santa Monica Mountains. The invasive species that are beginning to encroach this space can be tough to handle and much of this event takes place off-trail so please be aware this event may not be suitable for all volunteers.
