You don’t need to be a skilled artist to be a great nature journaler
The best part of nature and place-based journaling is that it is a completely unique experience to you! You should be journaling in whatever way is most comfortable and fun to you.
While the majority of your journal entries should reflect your favorite way to journal, every entry should include a mixture of words, pictures AND numbers. If you love to draw, a majority of your journal entries should consist of pictures. If you love numbers and counting, then a majority of your journal should reflect that. If you love expressing yourself through vibrant descriptions, sentences, or poetry, then your journal should be filled with words.
Remember, include all three elements (words pictures AND numbers) but find your favorite and express it!
